FAQ
What is 2oz/yd fabric?
2oz/yd refers to the weight of fabric(2.06oz exactly) per square yard that every Grizz Wipe is made from. Most body wipes on the market are made with much thinner and weaker fabric - brands usually do not disclose their specs.
What do you mean by plant fiber?
Grizz Wipes are made from 100% bamboo modal - while more expensive, modal minimizes processing and results in a softer, higher quality fabric.
Most competing wipes on the market are made from Rayon, which is categorized as a man-made fabric due to its intensive processing.
Are Grizz Wipes environmentally responsible?
Yes! We've taken care to ensure that our fabric supplier is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. Additionally, the bamboo that makes up Grizz Wipes is a fast-growing crop that can be farmed sustainably, eliminating the need to cut down forests.
In addition, our product has been tested for biodegradability according to the ISO 14855-1 standard, as well as our manufacturing facility having received certification for recycling product and packaging.
How are Grizz Wipes manufactured?
Grizz Wipes are manufactured in Korea at a state-of-the-art facility. Strict quality control standards are adhered to ensuring we bring you the best product possible. As a country, Korea is known as a hub for manufacturing the highest quality personal care products, as well as some of the best outdoor gear. Despite efforts to locate facilities in the US, we have not found one with the specialized equipment necessary to handle such large format wipes.

In addition to sourcing fabric from an OEKO-TEX 100 certified manufacturer, our manufacturing facility in Korea is held to the highest standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22716, and ISO 45001. Finished products are quality controlled thoroughly to ensure the highest quality.
